摘要: Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a potentially blinding complication of diabetes mellitus. After the initial diagnosis diabetes, deficiencies typical for DR, namely abnormal autoregulation retinal arteries, increased blood flow, breakdown blood-retinal barrier, and disturbances in function develop silently remain clinically undetected quite some time. A characteristic microangiopathy fundus one first visible signs DR. Macular edema, neovascularization, contraction vitreous proliferated fibrovascular tissue are late consequences diabetic eye. The severity these lesions closely related to duration glucose control, risk factors such as hypertension.
