摘要: Tendon injuries are one of the most common orthopaedic problems in both human and equine athletes. When a damaged tendon heals naturally, it loses substantial part original strength elasticity. Therefore, tendons recover structurally (reparation) but not functionally (regeneration) after conservative medical or surgical treatment. Since structure matrix composition share many similarities, nature also strongly comparable species. evaluation regenerative therapies horses may have applications for future medicine vice versa. The current review focuses briefly on physiology order to better comprehend modus operandi this under pathophysiological circumstances. In addition, reparative effects interventions discussed concisely, an extensive overview is given that currently being explored. For latter, results clinical studies might prove invaluable gaining additional insights into treatment tendinopathies, since all these novel been evaluated humans yet.
