Vps74p controls Golgi size in an Arf1-dependent manner

摘要: The oncogene GOLPH3 is implicated in Golgi size regulation, a function yet to be experimentally linked its PI4P effector or the cisternal maturation general. Moreover, yeast homolog, Vps74p not regulation. Our results indicate that VPS74 deletion increases late and frequencies, destabilizes gradient budding yeast. Overexpression of Arf1 can suppress this enlargement increased frequency phenotype ∆vps74. ∆arf1 alters distribution along stacks. We conclude Vps74p, downstream Arf1, regulates by altering maintaining compartments.
