摘要: Abstract Choosing Wisely encourages dialogue about reducing unnecessary procedures, tests, or treatments in healthcare. The American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (ASBMT) Canadian Transplant Group (CBMTG) established a BMT Task Force whose objective was to create list of top 5 practices blood marrow transplantation be questioned. consisted representatives from ASBMT's Quality Outcomes, Education, Practice Guidelines committees; Pharmacy Special Interest Group; CBMTG Program Directors; Center International Research (CIBMTR). Suggestions current question were elicited the members Guidelines, Education chairs CIBMTR scientific working committees. We received 119 unique suggestions that ranked based on their potential impact harm reduction, cost necessity test practice, strength available evidence. Through modified Delphi process, narrowed down 6, which then subjected systematic reviews. final recommendations focus graft source patients with aplastic anemia, corticosteroid dose initial treatment graft-versus-host-disease, optimal number umbilical cord units transplantation, matched unrelated donor use prophylactic intravenous immunoglobulin transplant recipients. These are relevant clinical practice treatments, procedures may harmful, wasteful, there is no apparent benefit.
