摘要: Three second-order and one fourth-order finite-difference schemes are theoretically numerically investigated for their behavior at elastic discontinuities. One of them is extended with new formulas a flat free surface. Two the consistent stress-continuity condition P-SV waves discontinuities coinciding horizontal (or vertical) grid lines; none diagonal Despite these significant theoretical differences, numerical results from all four very similar. Moreover, compare well semianalytic solutions three different models. A practical conclusion that recent by no means accuracy problems Nevertheless, provide synthetic seismograms whose differences below level normally introduced structural focal uncertainties.
