摘要: The need for improved specificity in the diagnosis of "occult" vascular malformations led to use MR suspected cases order determine MR's potential diagnostic accuracy. Six patients with six lesions histologically diagnosed as malformation after partial (1) or complete (5) microsurgical excision were studied by CT, MR, and selective magnification subtraction angiography. In all cases, cerebral apparently solitary visible focal on both CT MR. Since angiography failed reveal pathologic blood vessels lesions, no arteriovenous shunting was evident, these termed occult (VMOTA).
