摘要: The importance of harmonizing the group terms used to indicate ‘natural’ forests is reported in several studies. In a recent paper term virgin forest proposed as unifying concept for which are not influenced by man their development. response that my aim clarify and old-growth. My focuses on two points: generally have been people even distant past, therefore something different from what described authors; definition drawn up substantially overlaps with old-growth resulting long history studies this theme. I think overlap between analyzed can ultimately only increase existing confusion terms.
