摘要: The etiology of human breast cancer is poorly understood and no specific marker transformation has been identified. Amplification HER-2/neu, as reported in a comprehensive study by Slamon et al, was found to be the most powerful predictor disease-free overall survival after status axillary lymph nodes. Our examines HER-2/neu oncogene 61 primary cancers at both DNA level (by Southern blotting) protein immunohistochemical methods). Of tumors analyzed our study, 17 (28%) had amplification HER-2/neu. There significant correlation with age, tumor diameter or hormone receptor status; however, overexpression significantly correlated nodes (P = 0.02). 16 patients 14 (88%) positive regional One two node negative cases amplified bone marrow micrometastasis. Overall, out (94%) having metastatic disease time diagnosis. In summary, associated early dissemination may poor prognosis.
