摘要: Neopterin, a pyrazinopyrimidine compound, serves as marker of cellular immune system activation, and it can be used prognostic predictor for certain types diseases. We propose new simple HPLC method to measure serum neopterin with highly sensitive fluorimetric detection. After TCA protein precipitation, the supernatant was diluted five times, injected into C18 reversed-phase column eluted at flow rate 1.5 mL/min by an isocratic water-acetonitrile (99:1) mobile phase. The natural fluorescence molecule detected excitation wavelength 353 nm emission 438 nm. In these conditions retention time about 4 min. Our proposed compared validated chromatographic separation, obtained data from 35 healthy volunteers were analysed Passing-Bablok regression Bland-Altman test. Neopterin measurement in subjects also employed investigate on its potential relationships plasma thiols levels.
