摘要: This paper presents an advanced probabilistic model of the grinding process considering random arrangement grain vertices at wheel active surface. The general has been developed based on well-founded assumptions. shaping ground surface roughness, probability contact between grains and work-material as well undeformed chip thickness are described along zone. Eight special models obtained by substituting relationships with functions also presented. calculations performed for lead to interesting conclusions relating real length zone, which is considerably longer than nominal (geometric) length, taken default in most known approaches.
