摘要: Recall and selection bias are well-recognized potential problems in case-control studies of alcohol cancer, but few analyses have attempted to assess the direction magnitude these biases. We thus examined consumption relation risk breast cancer using dietary questionnaires administered both before after diagnosis Nurses' Health Study (United States). Among cohort members who completed a questionnaire 1986 were free 616 diagnosed with during follow-up December 1989. These cases 1,277 controls (a random sample did not develop up 1990) then sent another inquiring about their diet 1985. Four hundred ninety-four (80.2 percent) 999 (78.2 responded second questionnaire. The analysis based on prospective (1986) demonstrated an elevated among women drank 30 or more g daily (about two drinks) relative nondrinkers (odds ratio [OR]=1.55, 95 percent confidence interval [CI]=1.01–2.39). retrospective also indicated similar slightly attenuated elevation at least (OR=1.42, CI=0.85–2.40). In data, due recall had only minor effects reported intake consumption.
