摘要: Ultrastructural changes in the kidneys of rats after acute cadmium exposure and effects exogenous metallothionein (MT) were studied by transmission electron microscopy. Thirty-six adult Wistar divided into three groups. Cadmium chloride (CdCl2) (3.5 mg/kg/day) was injected subcutaneously first group. In second group, 30 μmol/kg MT administered addition to CdCl2. Control received 0.5 ml subcutaneous saline solution. Four from each group killed on days 1, 3, 5, 7 administration compounds. Kidney tissues taken fixed 2.5% glutaraldehyde solution for microscopic observations. Tissue damage kidney increased as time passed since CdCl2 Degeneration proximal distal tubules observed. Increased apoptosis seen epithelium, especially day 7. Peritubular capillaries became dilated, there degeneration endothelial cells, amount intertubular collagen fibers increased. On 1, irregular microvilli tubules, deepening basal striations, myelin figures; multiple vesicular mitochondria regions edema around tubules; days 5 7, apoptotic cell widened rough endoplasmic reticulum cells glomerular We observed that structural alterations depending Cd decreased administration, dilation peritubular persisted, degenerated tubules. It established toxic cortex caused damage. Exogenous partly prevents CdCl2-induced
