摘要: Of 49 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, 10 were classified by clinical criteria as type A (primarily emphysematous), 17 B bronchitic), and 22 mixed type. Serum concentrations of alpha1-antitrypsin immunoglobulins G, A, M (IgG, IgA, IgM) determined in all age- sex-matched normal subjects. These observations permitted the identification a distinctive subgroup patients, who differed from other their combination (1) intermediate (“heterozygous deficient”) serum concentrations; (2) considerably greater IgM, slightly IgG, lower IgA; (3) characteristics disease; (4) physiologic features disease.
