摘要: AIMS AND BACKGROUND We studied, retrospectively, 33 cases of adrenal tumors children at the Pediatric Endocrinology Unit, Children's Institute, Sao Paulo State University Medical School, from 1975 to 1993. All patients had least 2 years follow-up with a few exceptions. METHODS Clinical data were correlated histopathologic review, laboratory and cell kinetic evaluation (based on detection proliferating nuclear antigens). RESULTS With one exception, all presented signs androgen production high levels dehydro-epiandrosterone-sulfate. Tumor weight represented good parameter neoplasm evolution: 19 weighing less than 250 g, 17 no evidence disease after surgery, an unfavorable prognosis. Of 14 more only 1 13 evolution. CONCLUSIONS Proliferating antigen (PCNA) was not helpful evaluate our study did show any correlation between PCNA score
