摘要: Abstract Education is one of the most powerful instruments for reducing poverty and inequality, lays a foundation sustained economic growth. Aboriginal peoples Australia experience ‘overwhelming’ disadvantages across every indicator social well being when compared with non-Aboriginal peoples. This disadvantage experienced all sectors education, although students are participating at high rates in vocational education training, their pass qualification outcomes remain below those Australians. paper maps participation desert dwellers training sector relates these to factors such as: (1) compulsory school access, (2) remote area labour markets, (3) state housing infrastructure on discrete settlements, (4) policy program initiatives influencing land tenure, income security force status. The provision services regions epitomises tensions generated drivers living – remoteness, dispersed sparse mobile populations, variable climate, geography, cultures, languages histories interact differing that shape mainstream education. Although innovations delivery more consistent learner needs aspirations can do emerge, they often framed as pilot projects or materialise parallel interventions youth work care. explores nature identifies characteristics educational improve no matter where choose live.
