摘要: Finely divided, hydrogen-activated catalyst compositions comprising iron, silicon and carbon or iron that selectively convert gaseous mixtures of CO H2, at a temperature about 150°-450° C. pressures 10-2000 kPa, into reaction mixture containing least 75% C2 -C6 alkenes no more than 25% CH4 undesirable CO2 by-products are disclosed. A wide range iron/silicon-based conveniently prepared by laser pyrolysis hydrogen-pretreatment readily reactivated with hydrogen elevated temperatures.
