摘要: The 33 kDa extrinsic protein of PSII (OEC-33) is synthesized in the cytoplasm as a 39 precursor (1), transported across chloroplast envelope and thylakoid membrane becomes attached to inner surface (2). This protein, along with several other intrinsic polypeptides, forms oxygen evolving complex PSII; when proteins are removed from particles by washing alkaline Tris, evolution abolished (2,3,4,5). Because OEC-33 component PSII, we were interested determining how closely accumulation this coordinated that proteins. We have isolated polyspecific antibodies against used antiserum determine role phytochrome chlorophyll biosynthesis polypeptide maize. During course these studies obtained information about localization plants grown under conditions where components fail accumulate.
