摘要: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with a dynamic susceptibility contrast perfusion-weighted (DSC-PWI) sequence to study brain tumours provides information on the haemodynamic characteristics of neoplastic tissue. Brain perfusion maps and calculation parameters, such as relative cerebral blood flow (rCBF), volume (rCBV) mean transit time (MTT) allow assessment vascularity angiogenesis within central nervous system (CNS), thus providing additional conventional MRI sequences. Although DSC-PWI has long been used, its clinical use in daily practice is still be defined. The aim this review was analyse application by summarising our personal experience main results reported literature.
