摘要: Water sorption and mechanical properties of perfluoro sulfonated acids (PFSAs), Aquivion Nafion, are compared under environmentally controlled conditions from 25 to 120 degrees C water activities 00.95. Under dry Nafion have thermal transitions at 60 95 C, respectively, where the elastic modulus decreases rapidly with increasing temperature. Below their transition temperatures plasticizes both PFSAs; moduli decrease activity. Above stiffens polymers; activity 0 0.01 increases by a factor >10. Plasticization stiffening reversible changing constant The in PFSAs is suggested result clustering ionic groups. higher temperature for reduce risk membrane thinning failure due creep.
