摘要: Abstract Mixed colloidal dispersions were obtained by precipitation of iron oxide (hematite) in the presence preformed spherical titania particles (0.44 μm modal diameter) narrow size distribution. It was shown that, depending on conditions, freshly precipitated hematite can (a) exist as independent stable particles, (b) heterocoagulate with titania, (c) surface nucleate and grow or (d) form a film latter. The interfacial reactions be affected additives (e.g., heteropoly acids) which adsorb solids. Where possible results interpreted terms theory unlike particles.
