摘要: A system and method for reprogramming a non-volatile memory of one or more on-board vehicle computers through serial communication link between an off-board controller the computer. An interface circuit is also provided on in order to process command signals from portable which will enable receive store new computer program code. The follows predetermined transfer protocol assists preventing existing code stored being improperly erased re-written. This includes transmission signal has voltage level that exceeds any may recognized link.
