摘要: A microdissection and measurement technique has been adapted for biopsy of human small intestine. Specimens fixed in alcohol acetic acid are Schiff stained bulk. Villi crypts then dissected out under a dissecting microscope, placed coverslip, examined, measured, the number mitoses individual counted. With this method specimens normal intestine have found to villi 500 microns 1100 long 150 300 microns. These values were double those obtained when measuring sections same with haematoxylin eosin. The mean per crypt duodenum jejunum ranged from 1 12 most cells mitosis prophase or telophase. This rapid, sensitive, inexpensive complements available methods intestinal architecture.
