摘要: Abstract The addition of the noble metals Pt, Pd and Ir to Ni/γ-Al 2 O 3 catalyst used in autothermal reforming methane was investigated, with aim making reaction ignite without previous reduction H . In TPR-CH 4 , catalysts promoted Pt chloride suffered at temperatures lower than 500 °C, while unpromoted those by PdCl did not suffer reduction. only when added as nitrate. catalytic tests intermittent start-up, alternating air flow, showed results consistent from Pt- Ir-promoted were active all start-ups, producing a great quantity hydrogen, sample via paladium produce hydrogen significant quantity, converting CO water. samples palladium nitrate very reduction, hydrogen.
