摘要: Summary In the myenteric plexus of guinea-pig ileum, a sub-population descending interneurons contains nitric oxide synthase. Final neurons in motility pathways, inhibitory circular muscle motor neurons, also contain this study we used ultrastructural immunocytochemistry to determine whether synthase provide inputs all neurons. The presence 35 nerve cells from three animals was examined. Nine one ganglion were studied serial section. Every cell received (close contacts and synapses) terminals. number nine serially sectioned ranged 13 45. found about equal numbers on bodies dendrites. There no significant correlation between size they received. 5-hydroxytryptamine (determined previous study) by Random sections through an additional 26 (seven same 19 another two ganglia different animals) examined synapses close observed each neuron. Nitric are morphologically indistinguishable. However, since that terminals, appear both interneurons~ Hence likely play direct role reflexes, although does not be primary transmitter at neuro-neuronal synapses.
