Effect of heat treatment on the crystalline structure and hydrophilic properties of TiO2 porous thin films

摘要: TiO2 porous thin films have been synthesized successfully using tetrabutyl titanate (Ti(OC4H9)4, Ti(OBu)4) as the initial material, with acetylacetone (AcAc) and diethanolamine (DEA) complexing agents, prepared by a sol–gel spin-coating process. The effect of heat treatment on crystalline structure hydrophilic properties has studied X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectra, field emission scanning electron microscopy, water contact angles (WCAs) apparatus. It was found that showed hydrophobicity before annealing after at temperatures below 300 °C for 60 min. Otherwise, exhibited natural superhydrophilic property WCAs <5° when annealed temperature higher than 450 °C 30 min without UV irradiation. independent microstructure morphology but depended crystal treatment.
