摘要: Abstract A multicentre registry of children who had been successfully removed from therapy for some common childhood cancers (Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, neuroblastoma, nephroblastoma, acute lymphatic leukaemia and other leukaemias) was established in Italy 1981 . The present study describes mortality occurrence second primary malignancies (SPMs) among 1467 were alive when the established. Follow-up ended on December 31, 1983 1 year later SPMs. Sixty-seven deaths recorded, 11 which wre due to causes than progression original disease. Eleven incident SPMs identified (i.e. 3 myeloid leukaemias, thyroid carcinomas, bilateral breast carcinoma, liver malignant mesenchymoma, astrocytoma, chondrosarcoma osteosarcoma) corresponding an incidence rate 2.11000 patient-years at risk. Anecdotal reports collected regarding 2 further (a carcinoma a leukaemia) as well several benign tumours, including mammary fibroadenomas.
