摘要: Purpose To study the association of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs4073 in interleukin-8 (IL-8) promoter region with diagnosis and age onset exudative age-related macular degeneration (AMD) known genetic risk factors for AMD tobacco smoking. Methods Medical records, smoking history angiograms or fundus photographs 301 patients AMD, 72 dry 119 control subjects were analysed retrospectively.
