摘要: Contingency analysis has been an integral part of power system planning and operations. Dynamic contingency is often performed with offline simulation studies, due to its intense computational effort. Due a large number possible variations, covering all combinations in studies very challenging. Contingencies must be chosen carefully cover wider group possibilities, while ensuring security. This paper proposes method classify dynamic contingencies into different clusters, according their behavioral patterns, particular, respect voltage recovery patterns. The most severe from each cluster becomes the representative other corresponding cluster. Using information new concept called control area (DVCA) derived. DVCA will address importance location reactive reserves. Simulations have completed on modified IEEE 162-bus test validate proposed method.
