摘要: Abstract A new polydentate Schiff base ligand and its metal complexes were synthesized characterized by elemental analyses, IR, 1H NMR, electronic, ESR mass spectra, conductivity magnetic susceptibility measurements as well thermal analyses. The free was condensation of o-acetoacetylphenol with salicylaldehyde hydrazone. analytical spectroscopic tools showed that the obtained are mono- binuclear complexes, which can be generally formulated as: [(L)M2X2(H2O)m]·nZ; M = Cr, Fe, Ni or Cu, X = OAc NO3, m = 5 nil n = 3, 1.5 0.5 Z = EtOH H2O, [(H2L)2M(X)m].nH2O; M = Mn, Zn, Cd, X = EtOH, H2O nil, m = 2 n = 3.5 0, [(HL)2Co2]·0.5H2O [(H2L)2UO2(H2O)]. displayed octahedral, tetrahedral square-planar geometrical arrangements, while uranium complex seven-coordinate.
