Thermomechanical Response of SMA Composite Beams with Embedded Nitinol Wires in an Epoxy Matrix

摘要: Nitinol shape memory wires were embedded in epoxy beams to study their thermomechanical behavior the state. Beams made with ten placed below geometric mid-plane. A room temperature cure was used minimize residual stresses acting on wires.
