摘要: This paper describes an improved design of artificial pancreas, which takes into account the physical parameters human body for detecting hypoglycemic state diabetic patients. In diabetes mellitus, failure in endogenous insulin production requires exogenous infusion required drug amount. Traditionally, a closed-loop blood glucose level (BGL) control system includes patient, continuous monitor, controller and pump as actuating device. Such systems are not perfectly safe to use overdose due late action and/or delay reading sensor data may lead dangerously low sugar levels (hypoglycemia). Our incorporates vital signs such electrocardiogram, heart beat rate, electroencephalography skin resistance early detection avoidance hypoglycemia state. The objective is securely BGL patient suffering from prevent harmful hypoglycemia. A typical proportional integrate derivative designed keeping inside desired ‘safe’ range under normal conditions. Once detected, specified amount glucagon infused patient’s body. simulations have shown that safety can be through this strategy. addition, model-based purposed validated by UPPAAL model checker tool.
