摘要: Seventy two accessions of Indian sesame, Sesamum indicum L. and S. mulayanum Nair., a cash crop having potential medicinal importance were initially categorized by using seed morphological characters dendrogram obtained employing hierarchical cluster analysis. Representative 24 covering different clusters selected for further detailed assessment. Wide variations in the agro-morphological among also observed confirmed ANOVA (showed highly significant differences) quantitative characters. The from same method as above total 12 representative RAPD analyses. In analysis, nine primers OPA OPM series showed high level polymorphisms. results analysis Jaccard’s Similarity Coefficients depicted that all could be well distinguished markers. These data collectively demonstrated large phenotypic genotypic diversity sesame genotypes can considered valuable gene pool breeding programmes.
