摘要: Abstract Organo-zeolites (OZs) were prepared by loading cetylpyridinium bromide (CPB) onto natural zeolite (NZ) and firstly used to remove triclosan (TCS) from aqueous solution. Surface properties adsorption characteristics of OZs evaluated in this study. Batch experiments conducted as a function contact time, initial TCS concentration, temperature, pH. The results indicated that NZ surface considerably altered with CPB modification, but its mineral structures not significantly affected. capacities OZ 0.5, 1.0 2.5, different concentrations CPB, toward at 298 K greatly enhanced 0.91 mg g−1 for 31.85, 45.25 46.95 mg g−1, respectively. equilibrium data found follow the Langmuir isotherm better. kinetics could be well-described pseudo-second-order model. Further thermodynamic investigations was an exothermic spontaneous process. strongly dependent on solution pH nature charge OZs, which little higher acidic neutral conditions. main mechanisms controlling monolayer presumed hydrophobic interaction hydrogen bonding, while bilayer may involve organic portioning electrostatic interaction. As result, effective adsorbents removal wastewater.
