摘要: Summary The uptake of halothane is known to be more rapid in children than adults, but comparable clinical data regarding other inhalational anaesthetics are not available. In this study, the rates halothane, enflurane, isoflurane and methoxyflurane were compared different ages. Expired (FE′) inspired (FI) vapour concentrations measured with an infrared analyser, FE′/FI ratios used determine uptake. Uptake enflurane younger older children, age had no effect on which was uniformly all studied.
