摘要: Abstract The IR study of CO adsorption at low temperature has been used to follow the transformation unpromoted Mo sites into promoted ones on sulfided Mo/Al 2 O 3 catalysts. promotion is realized by thermal decomposition different amounts Co(CO) NO . determination integrated molar extinction coefficients η(CO) bands corresponding performed. For catalyst, titration technique leads a number sites, which in good agreement with that provided from geometrical model. Evidence formation one site occurs expense provided. However, detected lower than expected amount cobalt introduced: introduction six atoms creation only site. migration intercalated positions or alumina considered.
