摘要: We present a small and lightweight fully wireless optogenetic headstage capable of optical neural stimulation electrophysiological recording. The is suitable for conducting experiments with transgenic rodents, features two implantable fiber-coupled light-emitting diode (LED) recording channels. This system powered by lithium-ion battery entirely built using low-cost commercial off-the-shelf components better flexibility, reduced development time lower cost. Light uses customizable patterns varying frequency duty cycle. power that sourced from the LED delivered to target light-sensitive neurons fibers, which provide measured density 70 mW/mm2 at tip. novel foldable rigid-flex printed circuit board design, results into compact device. Recording performed in cerebral cortex ChR2 mice under anesthetized conditions show proposed can trigger neuronal activity stimulation, while microvolt amplitude signals.
