Utah's Alternate Assessment: Evidence regarding Six Aspects of Validity.

摘要: Utah State University Abstract: Alternate assessments are the means through which students with significant cognitive disabilities participate in accountability testing, thus measurement validity of alternate is a critical aspect state educational systems. When evaluating assessment systems, it important to take broad view that acknowledges its many facets. Evidence regarding six aspects Utah's Assessment (UAA) presented this paper. These are: (a) test content, (b) performance standards, (c) administration test, (d) reliability scoring, (e) stability scores, and (f) impact use UAA. Results study conducted on UAA along recommen- dations for improving system based these results.
