摘要: A Neutrino Factory based on a muon storage ring is the most powerful tool invented so far to study neutrino oscillations, having best sensitivity and precision mixing angles θ 23 13 as well CP violating phase δ. Parameter ambiguities can be solved in cases thanks availability of understood flux ν e high energy, allowing golden silver channels → μ τ respectively. Short baseline physics allows tests Standard Model unprecedented DIS studies. The potent source should allow improved search for lepton flavour violation. Last but not least first step towards colliders.
