Assessment of Fresh Semen Quality of Domesticated Banteng (Bos Javanicus D’alton, 1823) in Sabah, Malaysia

摘要: Banteng cattle have been domesticated in several places the Southeast Asia. A form of Banteng, called ‘Bali cattle’ considered to be same species and occurs widely Indonesia has introduced other areas world. were classified as endangered by IUCN Red List. In past few years an effort made Department Veterinary Services Animal Industry (DVSAI) Sabah, Malaysia research for conservation breeding program purposes. Electroejaculation technique was applied on fifteen semen collection. Collected fresh then analyzed volume, pH, sperm concentration motility.
