摘要: Ultrasound may play an important role in the management of labor and delivery. Induction is a common obstetric intervention, performed about 20% pregnancies. Pre-induction cervical length, measured by transvaginal sonography, has been shown to have significant association with induction-to-delivery interval risk for cesarean section. In there extensive evidence that digital pelvic examination does not provide accurate assessment position descend fetal head both during first but also second stage labor. Several recent studies using two- three-dimensional ultrasound now described objective measures progression instrumental deliveries determinant successful safe use vacuum forceps correct determination appropriate application instrument. However, before delivery fails identify high proportion cases. The crucial importance performing operative can help prediction whether vaginal would be successful.
