摘要: The power- and phase-transmission spectra of free-standing wire grids at submillimeter wavelengths have been calculated for the case normal incidence by a least-squares method. calculations are compared with measurements made on wound from 10-μm-diameter tungsten spacings in 30–65-μm range. were ν˜ = 29.7 cm−1 (λ 337 μm) using an HCN laser 20–450-cm−1 frequency range combination conventional dispersive Fourier-transform spectrometry. At frequencies below about 100 cm−1, excellent agreement is obtained between theory experiment, indicating that this work should provide suitable basis design spectroscopic components, such as laser-coupling devices use wavelengths. However, there marked discrepancies experiment near Rayleigh wavelengths, where d/λ 1, 2, etc., d spacing. From detailed periods grids, it concluded these primarily due to effects irregularities spacings.
