摘要: Purpose To evaluate the clinical outcomes obtained after cataract or crystalline lens surgery with implantation of a new continuous transitional focus intraocular (IOL). Setting San Rafael Hospital, Madrid, Spain. Design Nonrandomized prospective case series. Methods Uncomplicated phacoemulsification was performed bilateral IOL Precizon Presbyopic. Visual, refractive, and contrast sensitivity were evaluated during 6-month follow-up. Likewise, incidence postoperative disturbing photic phenomena recorded. Results Sixty-two eyes 31 patients (mean age: 61.3 years) enrolled. Mean binocular uncorrected distance (UDVA), intermediate (UIVA), near visual acuity (UNVA) 0.01 ± 0.03, 0.17 0.04, 0.02 0.04 logarithm minimum angle resolution (logMAR), respectively. A total 98.4% (61) 93.5% (58) achieved 20/25 monocular UDVA UNVA better, respectively, whereas all (100%) 20/30 UIVA better. corrected 0.14 0.05, 0.15 0.06, 0.19 logMAR for defocus levels -1.00, -1.50, -2.00 diopters. log 1.22 0.18 0.75 0.10 12 18 cycles per degree, 9.7% (3) 6.5% (2) reported halos glare. Conclusions This presbyopia-correcting provided complete rehabilitation surgery, maintaining excellent quality. Specifically, generated range functional vision from to near, minimal associated.
