摘要: Abstract (TiB/Ti)-Ti 3 Al micro-laminated composites have been successfully produced by reaction annealing using in-house fabricated TiB/Ti composite foils and commercial pure as starting materials. The resulting showed a unique microstructure which was comprised of alternating layers Ti layers. Microstructure characterized systematically optical microscopy (OM) scanning electron (SEM). Furthermore, formation mechanism the novel structure discussed. exhibited desired combination enhanced tensile strength with superior ductility compared to monolithic Al.
