摘要: The concept of ductile-phase toughening was explored in a metallic-intermetallic laminate (MIL) composite comprising alternating layers Ti3Al and TiBw/Ti. laminates, which the TiBw/Ti were intended to impart toughness brittle Ti3Al, fabricated situ by hot pressing reaction annealing. Compared with monolithic MIL exhibited marked increases both fracture tensile elongation because stress redistribution strain delocalization interfaces.
