摘要: ZmMRP-1 is a single MYB-domain transcription factor specifically expressed in the transfer cell layer of maize endosperm, where it directly regulates expression number specific genes and very likely contributes to regulation differentiation process. It still matter debate, however, how this type factors interact with promoter sequences they regulate. In work we have investigated existence proteins interacting nuclei. yeast double-hybrid screen identified two related proteins, ZmMRPI-1 ZmMRPI-2 belonging C(2)H(2) zinc finger protein family, which modulate its activity on promoters. Two ZmMRPI orthologous were also rice Arabidopsis genomes. The pattern suggest role for these gene at exchange surfaces providing first indication their function. We show that previously uncharacterized family encodes nuclear MYB-related through C-terminal conserved domain.
