摘要: Abstract 1. The influence of Na + concentration and transport on enteral absorption either actively transported or diffusing substances was studied by perfusion the small intestines rats guinea pigs in vitro (method Fisher Parsons ). solutions varied isotonic exchange NaCl with macnnitol. 2. Two relationships were found correlating glucose absorption: 2.1. (a) There a strong linear correlation between if held constant. 2.2. (b) regression coefficient decreased increasing solutions: therefore, ratio absorbed amounts: glucose/Na increased supply . 2.3. 3. same true for K Ca 2+ 2.4. 4. With levels perfusing fluid proportionate rise mean rate occurred; at time, glucose, showed saturation kinetics even though their kept 2.5. 5. cortisol perfused intestine penetration urea across wall everted gut sacs both to be independent incubation media. 2.6. 6. results indicate that are each principally mechanism, which, it is suggested, functions through ‘common sites’. proportional quantity other may determined number these sites, while mass particular functional character sites. theoretical difficulties which arise from such site’ hypothesis and, e.g. , assumed complexed carried active carrier discussed.
