摘要: Urological endoscopic procedures are performed on a wide variety of patients ranging from the young, physically fit to elderly with multiple comorbidities. While these generally do not require any particular anesthetic technique, depending upon procedure, medical condition patient, and patient’s and/or surgeon’s preference, one technique may be more appropriate. Many ambulatory, in cystoscopy suites rapid turnover patients, choice must also consider concerns. This chapter focuses concerns urological relatively minimally invasive transurethral resections, along newer surgical techniques for treating benign prostatic hyperplasia, ureteroscopic procedures.
