摘要: Dune networks are widely distributed in the world’s deserts, which include primary ridges and secondary ridges. However, they have not been sufficiently studied a systematic manner their origins spatial morphological characteristics remain unclear. To provide information on geomorphology of dune networks, we analyze software geomorphologic patterns China’s Tengger Desert using matrix laboratory to process remote-sensing images. Based analysis image features layout topographic map, identify two types (square rectangular networks) with different size structures Desert. Four important geomorphic pattern parameters, ridge length, spacing, orientation defect density, analyzed. The length decreases from northwest desert southeast, resulting an increasing spacing transition square networks. Wind regime sediment supply responsible for variation parameters. We use density data estimate construction time found that formed since about 1.3 ka BP.
