摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses intermultiplet transitions using neutron spectroscopy. In intermediate valence compounds, studying the mixing of two configurations is practically possible. Neutrons have until recently only been able to measure spin fluctuations ground state multiplet, which gives no information on its composition unless absolute cross section determined very reliably.
