摘要: As computers become integrated in our everyday lives, it is important that we do not limit computer-based collaboration to distributed settings. the demand for collaborative applications grows, imperative investigate how effectively support co-located and fully understand consequences of this style interaction. This paper presents preliminary results from a research study which examined pairs elementary school children playing puzzle solving game various setups. Children's activity engagement levels when on computer with multiple input devices was compared other traditional settings (paper-based, common desktop configuration). Preliminary qualitative quantitative analyses revealed three main benefits providing each child access mouse cursor: (a) exhibited significantly higher level engagement; (b) tended be more active; (c) preferred equipped cursors.
